On tap at Big Texas Beer Fest. Pours a hazy copper gold with medium frothy off whit head. The aroma is resin and citrus. Medium body, dank grapefruit, lingering bitter finish, good.

27/6/2018. Draught at the Gordon Biersch Brewery Restaurant, Las Vegas. Pours amber with a foamy off-white head. Aroma of malt, hops, light fruit and pine, and hint of spice. Moderate sweetness and medium bitterness. Medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation. Something didn't particularly work with this.

Golden colour, white head. Aroma of hops, citrus, tropical fruits. Quite sweet flavour, bitter hops, straw. Sweet and hoppy finish.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2014, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Gordon Biersch Sommer IPA ].Clear medium orange yellow color with a small to average, frothy, good lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, pale malt, moderate hoppy, fruity hops, soapy hops, light spruce. Flavor is moderate sweet and moderate to light light heavy bitter with a long duration, caramel, sweet fruit, hoppy. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft to flat. [20140812]

From cask as Sommer IPA. Pours clear and golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma is fruity, peachy and light grassy. Bitter, dry and crisp hoppy. Smooth fruity finish.

Cask gravity @ GBBF 2014. Pours a golden color with a small white head. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy floral aroma. Sweetish hoppy bitter citrus flavor. Has a fruity malty citrus hoppy floral finish.

Draft at the Great British Beer Festival 2014, Day 1 - London. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. Moderately sweet with some white sugar, tangerine, faint alcohol and pine needles. Light bodied with fine carbonation; pretty good condition. Sugary finish with basic white bread and some juicy citrus. OK.

GBBF Day 1. Cask. As ’Sommer IPA’. Almost clear gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth with just moderate carbonation. Sweetish malts, trace of honey. Sweet floralness. Light touches of tangerine and lemon. Light finish. Really quite floral. Interesting!

Gravity dispense at GBBF ’14, day 1, 12/08/14 as GB ’Sommer’ IPA. Lightly hazed golden with moderate off white spotting. Nose is floral, faint citric peel, mango pulp, perfumed effect. Taste comprises mandarin, sweet licks, perfumed tones, light pine. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close with a little hop bitterness. Average IPA but drinkable stuff if a little sweet and floral in places.
