Flaske 500ml fra Gulating Larvik Batch 119. Drukket i Tyrihansveien. Amber. Uklar. Småhissig. Litt lacing. God sammensatt fruktaroma. Mest mandarin. Behagelig smak. Litt plommer. Svakt syrlig etter hvert. Litt bunnfall.

Aromaen blows med away. Men smaken er litt tynn og bitter, men med maltens kjekspreg. Red og bitter er en vanskelig balansegang.

Another lovely hoppy ale from the wild vest.
Unclear dark golden (amber-ish) color with a fine off white head. Nice lacing. Lovely hoppy, flowery and fruity aroma. Medium body and a fine carbonation. Ok balance between sweetness and bitterness. Bready, grapefruit hoppy, fruity and flowery flavor. Lasting nice flavor!

On tap @ Henrik, Bergen. Pours amber, with a creamy off white head. Aroma is hoppy orange peel, grapefruit, and light tropical notes, as well as malty notes of cereals and toffee. Medium body, with average carbonation. Flavour is bitter citrusy hops, with orange peel, grapefruit and resin, as well as roasted malts with grain, toffee and burned sugar. Bitter finish with orangy hops and burned caramel malts.

500ml bottle, batch 014, bought at Gulating Ølutsalg in Trondheim. Next to clear amber colored body. Hazy last pour. Patchy beige head, spotty lacing. Sappy aroma of red orange and lemon. Fresh hoppy taste of grass and citrus joined by a touch of herbs. Could not spot the raisin. Mid-dry, fruity bitterness to the ending. Easy to drink. Soft and moreish (Tromsø 08.05.2015).

50cl bottle from Gulating Ølutsalg, Strømmen. Pours hazy deep amber with an off-white head. Fairly fruity and hoppy aroma with tropical fruits, citrus, caramel and hints of pine, yeast and herbs. Moderate to medium sweet with pleasant fruity flavours and a decent bitterness. Medium bitter aftertaste with notes of citrus. Medium body with carbonation on the soft side. Quite refreshing, but not completely convincing.
