Can from online order that contributed towards the advent calendar that I curated for Loz. Picked up from Mr Hop webshop, Venray, Netherlands. Had this at home Friday 19th December 2025 listening to Nathan Shepherd Indie Forever on 6Music. We had homemade Chimichangas for tea tonight, was lovely. Pours dark brown with a ruby glint, large off white head, sticks to the glass as it drops. Clean, fresh, and light nuttiness but with a little roastiness and toasty linger. This is lovely. Score 7.6

Deep brown. Lightly roasted notes, toasted malt, chocolate, warm nuts, a hint of molasses, and wet dark grain. Mouth is almost creamy but with a tad too much carbonation to say that- Not a drawback. Finish has a bit of lingering toasted sweetness along with earthy hops. Very nice brown ale.

440 ml can, at Cardinal, Stavanger.ABV is 7.5%. Dark brown colour, large to moderate and lasting beige head. Aroma of brown malts and roasted nuts, hints of brown bread. Pleasant mouthfeel and flavour, with the same elements, not too sweet, also hints of dark berries / fruits, chocolate and caramel. Moderate hops, some bitterness in the aftertaste. Velvet indeed!

440ml can, #778, bought at Vinmonopolet Langnes. A firm, fawn-coloured head leaving rich lacing on the glass, a deep brown-reddish body. Prominent and inviting aromas of toffee and caramel, careful roasted. Rich flavours of caramel malts, biscuit, and herbal hops. Nicely roasted brown malty tail, semi-sweet. Fine bodied. A nice one, well-crafted. (Tromsø, 01.02.2025).

Mørk amber. Klar. Høyt kremaktig skum med litt farge. Stabilt. Pen lacing. Aroma av nøtter & malt. Hint av sevje. Smaken karamell, kaffe & sirup. Myk munnfølelse. Tørr, lett bitter avslutning. Balansert. Innholdsrik.
