Bottle shared in London - big cheers to Dave. Pours mostly clear orange with a frothy, off-white head. Huge peaty aroma, toasted malts, toasted caramel. Medium sweet flavour with more big peat, oily rubber, faint toffee. Full bodied, chewy, with fine carbonation. Warming finish, loads more intense peat, booze, some woody dryness. A real peat monster.

Bottle 20, thanks to WW. It pours hazy amber - brown with small white head. The aroma is rich, filthy, medicinal, smoked peat, sweet, dried fruits, fruit cake, almond biscotti, ripe nectarine, toffee and wood. The taste is dry, bitter, earthy, medicinal, smoked peat, warming alcohol, fruity, spice, nectarine, wood, leather and warming alcohol with a drying finish. Medium - full body and fine carbonation. Very nice gear.

Thanks to Wingman. Hazy amber beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable fine carbonation. Thin malts. Good tangy fruits and a trace of caramel. Smoke and plenty of it but the peat is not quite strong enough to piss me off. Spicy dry finish. Tolerable.
