Matteo’s Ciao @ Craft Islington. Thanks to Chris. Almost opaque dark brown beer, small pale tan head. Palate is light and fairly dry, modest fine carbonation. Mellow dark malts. Lots and lots of Christmas spices. Tangy fruits. Light dry finish. Classic heavy handed over spiced Christmas nonsense.

Bottle shared in London / thanks to Chris! Pours clear deep brown with a frothy, tan head. Lots of wintery spices in the nose, toasted brown bread. Light sweet flavour with chalky cinnamon, bitter baking cocoa, scorched earth, torched grains. Light bodied with fine to average carbonation. Dry finish, fairly bitter, with burnt leaves, earth, dry cocoa, more holiday spices. So so overall,
