Cock Tavern. Keg. Bright clear gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, modest fine carbonation. Grainy sweet malts. Light orangey hop, touch of orange peel. Dry floral insipid orange. Dry finish. A little on the sweet side and certainly could be crisper.

Keg at Cock. It pours clear golden - amber with a small white head. The aroma is toasty grain, earth, cereal, bread and a touch of honey. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, cereal, toasty grain, bread and light spice with a drying finish. Light - medium body and average carbonation. A fair lager bier.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - Hackney. Pours clear yellow-gold with a foamy, white cap. The nose holds crisp ple grains, straw, light cereal and lemon peel. Light sweet flavour, somewhat dry, with notes of biscuits and lightly bitter gain husk. Light bodied with active carbonation. Finishes with more crispy grains, light grass, hay. An easygoing lager.
