Understudy. Keg. Almost clear pale gold beer, small white head. Palate is smooth and semi dry, reasonable carbonation. Soft dry malts, sweetish and a touch grainy. Mild spice and modest citric hop. Smooth dry finish brings thin malt cream. It’s okay for what it is.

Keg at Understudy, 28/04/17. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white cap. Nose is pale malts, light bread, grains, whiff of orange. Taste comprises light yeast esters, pale malts, soft bread, light biscuit, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with mellow hop bitterness. Fine for style but nothing I’d revisit.

Keg at the Understudy - London. Pours lightly hazy orange-gold with a creamy, white head. The nose holds crispy pale bread, flaked wheat, citrus peel. Light sweet flavour with mild minerality, some pine needles, crispy pale malts. Light bodied with average carbonation. Drying fiinish with further minerality, hay, pale grains, dried wheat, lemon rind. So so overall.
