Bottleshare on the England Football team night of shame! Thanks to Paul. Very hazy gold beer, tidy cream colour head. Palate is airy, mildly dry. Decent fine carbonation. Dry floralness. Spice. Alcohol dryness. Mild ripe fruits. Light dry spicy finish. Long spicy linger. A bit overcooked but entertaining.

Bottle shared at Leighton’s place, 27/06/2016. Many thanks to Paul. A hazed golden orange coloured pour with a loose white head. Aroma is earthy straw, raw grains, rough saison yeast, hot alcohol. Flavour is composed of semi sweet, orange rind, tangy, grainy, saison yeast, solvent alcohol. Palate is gusty highish carbonation, grainy semi-dry. Headache inducing.

Bottle at Bespin, thanks to Bropey, 27/06/16. Hazed golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is tangerine, sharp orange, straw, faint plastic ring, yeast, not a great deal of wholesome aroma for the ABV. Taste comprises bitter orange, sharp tropical fruit vibes, light caramel, orange marmalade, straw, yeast esters, mineral chase. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light boosty close. A little unbalanced but drinkable ... boosting up a saison loses the refreshing characteristics I crave from the style.

Bottle shared at LKS. It pours slightly hazy orange – amber with a large white head. The aroma is fresh, bready, perfumed, soft sweet fruits, stone fruits, straw and a hint of something menthol. The taste is sweet, white sugary, whte bread, chalky, cracker, mint polos, straw, spice and some alcohol boost with a pretty dry, wood finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. A bit too sweet and boosty. Fair.

Bottle shared in London - big thanks to Scopey. Pours lightly hazy gold with a fine, creamy white head. Dirty orange peel in the nose, some earth, grains. Medium sweet flavour with decent alcohol bump, some biscuits. Dried grains, honey, pine needles, crackers, marmalade. Full bodied with massaging carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish, with more pale grains, honey, crackery pale malts. Drinkable stuff.
