Keg at fourpure. It pours black with a small tan head. The nose is bitter-sweet, big coffee character, coffee cake, caramel and earth. The taste is bitter, toasty, good deal of coffee, toasty brown sugar, earth, drying and lotus caramelized biscuits with a dry, earthy finish. Medium body and average carbonation. Decent coffee beer.

Keg at the brewery. Opaque black coloured pour with a lasting mid tan head. Aroma is big milky coffee, raw coffee bean, roast, kamp coffee. Lovely aroma of earthy nutty coffee. Flavour is composed of milky coffee ice cream, vanilla, smooth roast, pinch of lactose sugars. Palate is medium light body, with a little milky smoothness on the tongue, highish carbonation. Bags on flavour packed into a lower abv, coffee character is huge and smooth. Loving this.

Keg at the brewery taproom. Pours black-brown with a creamy tan head. Punchy coffee aroma, accented with roast, chocolate and dark berries. Light to medium sweet flavor with continuing coffee character, mild acidity, slight lemon, mocha, burnt earth, sugary creamer. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Fairly sweet to finish, offset somewhat by bitter ashy roast, baking cocoa and scorched earth. A good approximation of drinking sweetened black coffee.
