Swan Song at Bruce’s. Thanks to Leighton. Almost clear deep amber beer, untidy cream colour head. Palate is airy and semi dry. Mild fine carbonation. Decent dark malt base, little roast. A touch of bitterish dark chocolate. Mild pine hops with traces of skunk and citrus. Touch of berry fruits. Dry finish. Decent.

Bottle thanks to Leighton. It pours deep brown with small beige head. The nose is sweet, juicy, orange sherbet, cocoa, candy, juicy and tangerine. The taste is bitter-sweet, earth, toasty, earth, leather, wood, dirt, cold brew coffee and ash with a dry, coffee-driven finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Great aroma and decent enough taste. Solid.

Bottle shared in London - picked up from Ales by Mail. Pours brown with a frothy tan head. The nose holds brown bread, slight pine, ripening orange, citrus. Light to medium sweet flavor with sturdy roast, ash, burnt pine, rindy citrus. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Lightly resinous on the finish with some bitter char, baking cocoa, rindy orange. Pretty solid.

330ml bottle. Clear, ruby red glowing, dark brown colour with small to average, fluffy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, off-white head. Slightly weird aroma has herbal and chocolately notes, hints of smelly feet, juniper berry. Taste is dark malty, minimally chocolately, herbal overtones, some juniper; minimally watery. Not convincing.
