Bottle split at CBC Islo during my 40th shindig, thanks to Bruce, 11/10/14. Hazed orange amber with a reddish cloak and topped with a moderate beige covering. Nose is zingy citricisms, straw, spice, earthy, farmhouse. Taste comprises dark berry wash, damson notes, funk, straw, citric peel. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Nice earthy saison.

Bottle share for Colin’s 40th. Clouded dark orange with a lasting white head. Aroma is saison yeast, lemon floral sharp, pollen. Flavour is crisp, tart berry, touch of acid. Wood tanin. Palar is crisp and tart. Highish carbonation. Some veg and tart.

Bottle shared in London. Pours murky red-gold with a creamy head. The nose holds tangy and musty berries, some dry malts. Light sweet flavor with some tart berries, a bit of yeast, poo, funk, bitter grass. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderate tang on the finish, further funk, earth, grass. Not bad.

Bottle thanks to Bruce. It pours cloudy amber with a small beige head. The nose is soft, fruity, plum/damson, spice, yoghurt and jam. The taste is crisp, tartness, plum skin, damson, spice lemony, straw, lemonade and light alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather decent stuff.

Bottle from Beermoth, Manchester. Hazy, dark pink hued, amber colour. Thin, lasting, white head. Damson jam. Blood orange. Pink grapefruit. Taste is where the fusty, yeasty, tartness comes in. Some bitterness, too. A tad of damson jam sweetness in the mix, at the end. Yep, another good beer from this brewer.
