Old Coffee House. Keg. Hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light, semi dry and criepy.Light airy malt, little sweet cream. Massive hard candy, sherbet, parma violets, aromatic lemon loveliness! Some bittering hop on the back end. This won’t be everyone’s cup of char fer sure but I love it’s big bold floral sweetness.

Keg at the Old Coffee House, 30/06/14. Hazed golden with an off white cap that stays for the show. Nose is floral rinse, perfumed, parma violets, citrus rind, herbal smacks, lemon, grass. Taste comprises lemongrass, kumquats, light spice, more parma violets, love hearts. Medium bodied, spritzy carbonation, grassy floral close. Interesting offering for the style, plenty going on, refreshing stuff but I coudln’t drink too much of it, a little overly floral.

Keg at the Cock Tavern - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. Heavy floral aroma, some lemongrass, sugary wheat. Medium sweet flavor with lots of flowers, some potpourri, violets, background wheat. Light-medium bodied with fine carbonation. Big flowery finish, some baby diapers, grass, violet perfume. A bit heavy handed .

Keg at The Cock. It pours hazy golden with a small white head. The nose is fresh, big lemon grass character, citrus peel, soap, florals and parma violets. The taste is bitter-sweet, floral, soap, citrus, lemongrass, mild sweetness and light pepper with a dry finish. Light-medium body and fine carbonation. Does what it says on the tin. A touch soapy though...
