Tasting at Chez Bruce. Thanks to Paul. Hazy gold beer, small white head. Palate is light and semi dry. Fine carbonation. Sweetish floral.white wine with lesser generic fruits. Touch of vanilla. Light dry finish. Nicely joined up, just a tad dry.

Bottle split at Bruce’s pad, thanks to Paulo, 28/05/14. Lightly hazed golden orange with moderate off white spotting. Nose is citric peel, bitter orange, mandarin, bretty pangs, tangy apricot, straw. Taste comprises tangerine, straw, woody twang, citric peel, subtle wine BA effect, tarte fruit rinds, brett evident. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent Bretty Belgian affair, drinks under it’s ABV.

Bottle shared in London - many thanks to Paul. Pours clear gold with a foamy white head. The aroma holds ripe, lightly tangy citrus, melon, tangerine. Light to medium sweet flavor with pale, bready malts, ripe lemon, more tangerine, light alcohol. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly warming on the finish with slight Belgian yeast and delicate citrus character. Fine.

Bottle via trade. It pours pale golden with a small white head. The nose is earthy, hay, banana, brett, wood, funk, orange peel, bergamot, coconut and light vanilla. The taste is smooth, hay, banana, wood, light funk, wood, spice, lemon peel and light alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. A lot lighter than expected. Easy-going and pretty nice balance. Decent.
