Cask at Craft 100 2014 - Craft Beer Co Clapham, London. Pours rich brown with a fluffy beige topping. Very decent stuff, pretty drinkable, with definite notes of roses, dry chocolate, well roasted malts. Light to medium in body with fine carbonation; good condition. Finishes with more rose-laced chocolate, burnt earth, roast. Good one.

Gravity dispense at Craft 100, CBC Clapham, 03/04/14. Light black with a moderate tan covering/swirl. Nose is floral, raspberry jam, chocolate, dark malt, lght roast, rosehip. Taste comprises herbal notes, tea leaves, light spice, cocoa powder, pepper. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Ok stout I suppose, not a patch on the base beer so would never likely choose to revisit this one should the chance arise - kind of a let down from this brewer!

Cask gravity at Craft 100. It pours near black with a small beige head. The nose is roasted malt, toast, treacle, soft sweetness, brown sugar and liquorice. The taste is roasted malt, toast, earth, pine, floral, potpourri, charred wood, spice, faint tartness, soap and mild acidity with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. A bit of flavour clash going down, but fun to try nonetheless.

Craft100 fest at Craft Clapham. Cask. Semi opaque red - brown beer. Residual bubbly tan head. Palate is light and dry. Tangy dark malt with lesser tangy dark fruits. The floral and fruity rosehip grates against the dark malt. Light semi dry finish. Interesting experiment but I didn’t want to finish my share of this half pint.
