Cask gravity at Pigs Ear 2013. It pours deep brown with a minimal head. The nose is earth, roasty, coffee, cocoa, caramel and coffee cake The taste is smooth, roasty, coffee, mild acidity, carame dirt, toasty with a dry, roasty finish. Medium body and soft carbonation. Smooth and rather drinkable. Nice work.

Cask at Pigs Ear ’13, 03/12/13. Light black with a good sized frothy tan head. Nose is chocolate, vanilla, sweet sugary notes, light roast. Taste carries less depth than the aroma, cocoa, light espresso notes, brown bread, sweet tasting. Light to medium body, soft carbonation, dry sweet finale. Decent mild, a little overly sweet for the style though.

Pigs Ear. The Round Church, Hackney. Cask. Clear but very dark brown beer. Good bubbly pale tan head. Palate is light and smooth. Fine fine carbonation. Light touch of dark malts. Sweetish strong coffee. Very light candy fruits before a light dry finish. Comes together well.
