Gravity Dispense at Pig’s Ear BF, London - 05/12/12. Light black with no head. Nose is dark malt, molasses, dark toffee. Taste comprises dark fruits, dark toffee, roast malt, molasses, hint of chocolate. Medium bodied with soft carbonation, smooth on the palate. I wrote a few other things but cannot decipher!

Cask at Pigs Ear BF 2012, London. Pours black with very little in the way of head. Rich, dark bread aroma, lightly roasty, some char and dark cocoa. Light sweet flavor with ashy roast and baking cocoa. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Moderately dry cocoa finish, some further ash. Decent stout.

Pigs Ear. Opaque black beer. Light palate. Very odd. Fruity but gluey tang and finishes light and semi dry and with more glue in the aftertaste.

Cask gravity at Pig’s Ear BF 09. Black, no real head. Choccy, it’s ok, not much to it, but it’s decent burnt choc. Bit of oil More a porter than a choc to be honest.
