Bottle at Chriso tasting (thanks Anders37) 18/11/12. Lightly hazed pale golden with a thin off white head that escapes to the edge of the glass and forms a light film. Nose is hops, citrus tones, orange touch of mint. Taste follows, light pine, bitter orange, touch of spice. Medium bodied, soft carbonation leading to a bitter finish. OK - nowt special.

Bottle at home in London. Pours lightly hazy, rich gold with a strong, white foam head. Bready, lightly toasted malt aroma, some hints of ripe citrus and wood. Light to medium sweet flavor, some toasted grass, light bread, hints of plastic, dry berries. Medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Fairly dry to finish, a bit of dirty grass, a bit more of this plastic character, toasted malts. Meh. Nothing here really gets my juices flowing. Just OK.

On tap at the Holborn Whippet, 3/10/2012. Amber with a decent, off-white head. Aroma of citrus fruit with some grassy hops. Flavour had solid malts, a touch more fruit and a dryish finish. Fine.
