Cask-conditioned at the Lime Kiln, Bristol 10/4/2016. Golden in colour, with a decent, off-white, head. Aroma of citrus hops and tangerine fruit. Flavour was sweetish, with more fruit, biscuity malts and a dryish finish. Good.

Cask at the Craven Arms; clear light yellow pour with a creamy white head, feint citrus aroma, taste has soft honey a hint of malt, hint of pine, not massive in flavour but refreshing.

[Cask at Horseshore Hotel, Egton Bridge, N Yorks] Pale, slightly cloudy gold with a moderate white head. Lemony with some grass. Smooth & pleasant enough to drink, but rather bland and forgettable.

Cask at Fanny’s Ale and Cider House, Shipley/Saltaire 04-05-07. Very, very pale golden colour, with a huge Yorkshire head that was topped up straight away. Decent hoppy bitter beer that I tried alongside the Outlaw Mayflower (Roosters brewery) both good breweries. This one just nicked it for me it was in very good nick and had good citrus flavours and nice bitterness, not as good as some of theirs but still a very good effort.

Cask gravity at Reading BF 06. Golden, no head. I normally like Durham beers, but this was a little sub par for me. Golden, no head. Hoppy beer, odd violet flavour in the mouth. Ugh. Didn’t much like it.
