Keg at Beavertown brewery, day 3 of the RBESG ’14, 09/08/14. Hazed yellow with a moderately appointed off white covering that soon dissipates, Nose is lemon rind, spice, fresh lemon zestm straw. Taste comprises lemon zest, spice, straw, light citric acidity. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tangy citric close. Super refreshing stuff and a great kick off beer at 10.30 in the morning!

Keg at the hanging bat... Golden yellow... Thin white lacing... Soft sweet floral... Very juicy fruits nose.... Way too fizzy... Not tart enough for a berliner... But i like the sift irange lemon peel tones.. Shame about the fizz

Mother Kelly’s Sour Fest. Keg. Hazy gold beer, residual white head. Palate is dry and crisp. Little floralness and a touch of lemon. Dry seltzer in the dry sourish finish. It’s okay but.seems a bit dull after the other offerings at the fest. 2.9.

Keg at the Beavertown Tap Room. It pours cloudy gold with no head. The nose is sweet lemon, grainy, straw, light barnyard and earth. The taste is crisp, tart, bitter lemon, lemon cheesecake, some acidity, old fashioned lemonade, grain and lactic notes with a dry, tart finish. Light body and fine, prickly carbonation. Crisp and refreshing stuff.

Keg at the Brewery Tap. Deep yellow, cloudy and flat. Sharp sour lemon with a candyfloss edge. Very nice. Taste is straight sour: refreshing but not complex. Sour, lemony, papery dry palette. Good.
