Keg @ Common, Manchester. Hazy yellow with next to no head. Has a hidden strength with only a short hit of lemon providing the disguise, and it’s not that stated in its nose either.

Can courtesy of Geraint and Helen, consumed at home, on our birthday weekend Sunday 15th November 2015. Pours pale lemony colour with a slight white head. Clean, soft lemony flavour, it’s a little like a squash, bit thin but fruity and refreshing. Possibly more suited to the summer months but good. A6 A4 T7 P4 Ov13 3.5

330ml can from Beer Merchants. Pours hazy yellow with a short-lasting white head. Aroma is wheat cereal & sour. Taste continues with a fairly low lemon presence and more of a wheaty, lactic sour gose character. Nice, but lacks the crisp tart mouthfeel I was hoping for.

330ml can from beermerchants.com. Hazy pale yellow, white foam head and aroma of wheat, lemon rind, milky. Taste is tart zesty lemon citrus with biscuit & wheat plus lactic notes. Dry and crisp, thin mouthfeel, light bodied, spritzy carbonation, sour finish. Nicely drinkable.

Can. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Hazy, very pale gold. Swirl of white. Nose has lemon juice and lemon pip. Some woody notes. Lemon yoghurt. Taste has a surprising sweetness. Some citric acidity. Smooth, clean palate. Finish is pretty dry. Super easy drinking.

330ml can. Hazy, yellow-ish, pale golden colour with average, frothy, rapidly diminishing, white head. Tart-ish, citrusy, lemon aroma, a herbal touch, cautious hints of lime and nettle. Taste is dry, tart, notes of lemon juice, a touch of lime and nettle. Very nice.

Can from Cork & Cask. Hazy golden body with a medium white head. Steady carbonation. Aroma of dusty storeroom, bitter lemon and yeast. Flavour of freshly squeezed lemon juice, pale malt, green apple skin and grapefruit. Thin body with a watery texture. Light fizz. Mouth-puckeringly tart. Decent.
