Amber ale using US05 yeast and all American hops of Belma, Palisade and Delta mainly, gives a nice balance between the malt and hops with a slight hint of coffee.

Very hazy amber beer, tidy pale cream colour head. Palate is airy and dry, decent carbonation. Dry bretty tang jarrs against sweet dry malts and floral orange. Dry bretty bitter finish. Thoroughly awkward.

Bottle from Cotteridge Wines; hazy amber pour with a creamy off white head, aroma has some smokey biscuity malt action along with some red fruits, taste has robust malts, hint of coffee, not what I was expecting from an American amber, OK drinking doesn’t hit the style mark.

(Cask at Craft Beer St Mary Axe, London, 21 April 2016) Pale amber colour, slightly hazy, with foamy off-white head. Malty, fruity nose with citrus, some toast and earthy hops. Malty, fruity taste with notes of citrus, grapefruit, chewy malt, a touch of toast and a generous earthy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty and well made. Nice one.

Cask-conditioned at the Bag O’Nails, Bristol 10/3/2016. Deep amber with a decent, off-white, head. Citrus hops, sweet orange and red berry fruits, chewy malts and a dryish finish. Enjoyable.

Cask @ Trades Club, Hebden Bridge. Pale amber with a creamy head. Fruity, fused with hints of chocolate-malt that are evident in both aroma and taste, and it works!
