Bottle shared by Kinz at the 20th Richmond Gathering. Thanks! Pours a clear yellow color with a large foamy white head. Good head retention. Aroma of pale bready malts, spicy, herbal hops and a bit of a buttery note. The taste is stone fruits, spicy hops, pale malts. Medium bodied, refreshing. Nice beer.

500mL bottle, pours a clear golden blonde with a large frothy white head. Aroma is big on the Belgian yeast, cereal malt, and some light fruits. Flavour is very pleasantly yeasty, doughy and fruity (with bananas, apples and pears), lightly hoppy as well. Finish leaves a yeasty, doughy and lightly fruit combination. Very pleasant and easy-to-drink. Great one.

A golden ale with a thick onctuosu white head. In aroma, classic Belgian yeast, orange pulp, candy sugar, coriander, rich and creamy. In aroma, a classic of the styl, oily and silky, malt, curacao, all very nice and herbal, light alcohol, very well made. Bottle from Brouhaha Gatineau, about 4 months old, 3.99$, tasted June 1 2011.

Crisp, slightly honey tinted golden coloured body with a very nice dense off-white head with microbubbles and a good amount of small bubbles rising from the bottom constantly. Very fragrant aroma of belgian yeast, honey, fruit, caster sugar, raisins and a touch of hay - very nice! Medium-bodied; Assertive yeastiness up front with a good amount of malt (wheat?), some nice mellow coriander seed and curacao freshness, a little sweetness and finished very dry and almost like a biere de garde. Aftertaste is quite complex with the belgie characteristics coming through, but showing some saison dryness and a little sweetness of a tripel. Overall, a nice and complex beer - definitely worth trying if you can find this! I sampled this 500 mL bottle purchased at Marche des Saveurs in Montreal, Quebec, Canada on 04-December-2010 for CA$4.69 sampled at home in Washington on 25-April-2011.

Has an exceptionally nice big white head and a very nice clear gold body. Soft fruity grain aroma that is held back by aggressive carbonation. Flavour is witbier notes over top of a slightly weak mouthfeel. Not bad, quite drinkable.

Bouteille 500ml.

Bottle: Poured a bright golden yellow with a super huge pure white foamy head with great retention and super good lacing. Aroma of sugar, light warming alcohol and fruity ester such as apricot. Taste is very refreshing though still complex enough with warm alcohol notes and fruity ester with nice residual sugar notes as well. Body is quite full for style with great carbonation and alcohol is somewhat detectable. Well brewed and enjoyable as most beers from this brewer.
