Our 3.8% pale amber summer beer proudly supports the Marine Conservation Society.
Fat Sprat is brewed with Pale Ale malted barley, Munich, Cara and Black malt, with Columbus, English Goldings, Cascade and Chinook hops.
It has a lovely citrus, grapefruit aroma with some spicy notes. On the palate, the citrus character of the hops shines through, balanced with a light biscuit flavour and a crisp, dry finish.

Cask handpull at Old Buttermarket Canterbury Nicholson pub. Clear brown beer thin beige head. Some hop on the aroma. Ok bitter. Good balance. Lacks a little condition. Otherwise decent.

Cask at the Golden Retriever, Wokingham at their summer beer festival. Beer was on stillage and not kept in the best condition. Slightly cloudy appearance and rather on the warm side. Still pleasant in a seasonable way, kind of what I’d expect from Adnams.

Cask @ The Three Chimneys, Biddenden - Ashford. Amber body with a small off-white head. Aroma is quite fruity with a hint of toast. Light, soft malt flavor, fruity and moderate bitterness. Medium body and quite pleasant aftertaste. OK and pleasent to drink, but a bit one-dimensional, as most British bitters from cask seems to be.

Cask at the Pelt Trader. Bright clear amber beer, good pale cream coloured head. Palate is smooth and dry with fine carbonation. Dry malt with a whisper of bubblegum ester. Bitterish and spicy hops with a whisper of marmalade. Finishes semi dry with a medium bitter linger. Standard stuff - done well.
