Fra cask på V-Shed Bristol 1 Mai 17. Gylden. Filmskum. Aroma av søte druer. Smaken plommer. Bra balanse. Lett tørr bitter ettersmak. Gjennomgående karamellpreg.

Cask ale at V-Shed (JDW), shared with Finn. Clear amber body, low, bubbly white head, fair lacing. Floral hops on the nose, hints of bread. Blended taste of plums, caramel malts and leafy hops. Lightly bitter end. Fine traditional English breakfast partner. (Bristol 01.05.2017).

Cask at Wetherspoons, Birmingham airport. Poured a very slightly hazy medium amber with a long lasting frothy white head. The aroma is earthy malt, woody hop. The flavour is moderate bitter with a smooth light dry grainy malt hop bitter palate and a moderate bitter finish. Medium bodied with soft carbonation.

Cask at Hamilton Hall, London. Pours amber with a lasting off-white head. Aroma is floral, frurity, hoppy, citrus and blackberry. Medium plus fruity sweetness, light bitterness. Medium body, slight oily texture, soft carbonation. A very fruity bitter.

Cask-conditioned at the Postern Gate (JDW), York, 20/1/2017. Dee gold in colour, with a decent, white, head. Stone fruits, cereal malts, some floral hops and a moderately bitter finish. Ok.

Cask (handpump) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX. [ As Daleside Square Rigger ].Clear medium orange color with a small to average, open and frothy, fair lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, hay, straw, nutty, toasted - caramel. Flavor is moderate sweet and light moderate bitter with a average to long duration, earthy, nutty, fruity, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft to flat. [20130815]

15th August 2013
GBBF Day 3. Almost clear gold - amber beer, no real head. Light dry palate. Low carbonation. Sweetish pale malt. Light grain. Little marmalade. Dry finish. Not too bad.

On tap at Gbbf 2013. Clear amber colour thin bubbly white head. It’s a bitter. Not great condition little bit of tangerine hop. Grew on me.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is herbal, toasted malty and light grainy. Bitter, toasted malty and light breadish to caramelish.
