Cask @ Beer House, Manchester Victoria Station. Golden with a head. Has sweet exotic and passionfruit flavours with a good nose to it too.

Handpull cask at the Boathouse, Cambridge. Slightly dark gold with a web of white film on top. Tropical fruit aroma but it’s a bit artificial, and has a possety note. Hmmm. The taste however is markedly improved. It’s really sweet, like pineapple soda, but it tastes pretty damn good. A touch of hop bitterness in the finish, with pineapple and orange peel in the aftertaste. GK have started making quite a few beers I like, which is a bit disconcerting. Oh has the world changed or have I changed?

On cask at the Grain Loft in Manchester Airport. Appearance - golden with a nice fluffy head. Nose - pineapple mostly, some orange and biscuit too. Taste - pineapple with more subtle notes of orange and banana. Palate - light bodied with a creamy texture and a fairly good finish. A little sweet. Overall - I was feeling silly for turning down a Marble bitter for this but I am pleasantly surprised.

Cask halfpint at The Saltaire Bar & Eatery, Leeds Bradford Airport. Golden colour, white head. Very moderate aroma, a hint of fruit. Smooth mouthfeel and flavour, decent hops, notes of citrus and tropical fruits.
