Pours amber with little head. Not much to the nose but a bland cereal aroma.Chewy cereal flavor with nutty tones. Not very interesting.

Draught at the brewpub
Hazy amber color. It would be a lightly fruity and caramelly Ale, pleasant, if not for the mild aftertaste of burnt coffee.

This might be the Dix Red Truck Ale, but the two beers might well be the same one, so I will just rate this one and hope that I am rating the proper beer. Had this on draft in the Sheraton Wall Centre. Pours and amber colour with a big, ephemeral head. Almost cloudy, but not quite. The beer itself is a little bit on the bitter side. Some hop taste as well. The beer is pretty much an average, smooth, and drinkable beer.

On tap at Yaletown, Vancouver. Amber, thin beige head. Sickly malt aroma, dry brown malt flavour. Strong malty aroma. Some hop does kick in at the end. Tasty actually. Bit of caramel in mouth too.

Tasted at Taylor’s Crossing, but this recipe is pan-Mark James Group. Bright copper colour. Fresh malt aroma - lots of crystal, bit of chocolate, plus resiny, earthy hops. Flavour is lightish, leaning towards the crystal, with slightly resiny hop note.
