Eye is clear light orange tinted on heavy pale color. Off white creamy head fades to pond scum after a while. Nose is rather aged hops, date on can says good till oct 2026, so I'm not sure here. Must be those 'fine' american hops, hehehh. Woe, first taste is rather heavy on the old hops feeling. Woodsy pine old fermented green grapefruit pulp. Difficult, lots of bitter bitterness, hah. Certainly hints of the terroir that the hops were grown in. Quite nasty rototiller. Co2 level is almost acceptable, to keep it from coating the inside of my pie hole. Middle is getting somewhat astringent and phenolic, sticks inside the palate. Ends like a biggy blasty bastard. Long terrible finish hangs around like an earworm. Whew. There, you have it. Can 3$ from JRs.

Doesn’t really evoke the nose or flavor of a fresh-hop IPA; some citrus and tropical hop notes, but also with a grainy sweetness that skews medicinal on the back end and a bland, bitter-free finish. Eh.

Crisp copper and bronze coloured body with a two to three centimetre tall off-white head that fades pretty quickly and leaves a moderate lace on the sides. Aroma of bright grassy and very floral hops with some softer malt and biscuity notes with even some bread and yeast in the scent, with some more grapefruit on the end. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong grassy and herbal hops show at first with a nice bitterness, and a strong carbonation, with a light dose of hay and perfume, but the moderate malt and yeast notes dominate here and show stronger than the hops, at the end. Aftertaste shows some nice bitterness from grain and a little bit of flowers, but the grapefruity and piney notes are strong as well, from the hops. Overall, a nice, crisp and grassy IPA that hits nicely with a lot of bitterness, but a good balance of malts with some yeast and bread here as well. Nice to sample, especially fresh for the season! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle, purchased from Wegman's [grocery] in Gainesville, Virginia (Lake Manassas), on 05-October-2022 for US$2,33, with a 'best by' date of 17-January-2023 and sampled in my hotel room here in Newport News, Virginia on 18-November-2022.

12 oz bottle from Total Wine. Pours a crystal clear dark bronze color with a thick khaki head and great retention. Good lacing. Light hops aroma. Strong bitter and hoppy flavor with a semi-boozy finish. Straightforward bitter IPA. My bad, I thought it was going to have some pumpkin spices. Medium body and good carbonation. Pretty pour, but just not my style.

12 ounce bottle. Number one with a bullet. Amber orange pour. Large frothy beige head. Toasted malt aroma. Toasted malt flavor is balanced by spicy, piney hops. Notes of toasted bread and burnt sugar. Decent.
