Nylanceret i 2014 og nu fast sæsonøl. Frederik, som øllen er opkaldt efter, var en driftig fynbo og grundlagde i 1897 Indslev Bryggeri ude på landet, ikke så langt fra Middelfart. Her holder vi stadig til og der er sket meget siden, men havde det ikke været for Frederik, så var der slet ikke sket noget.
Frederiks Påske er en frisk og sprød øl på 5,5% og brygget med fransk saisongær, der giver en krydret, frisk aroma. Velegnet alternativ til hvidvinen ved spisebordet.

Hazy yellow with a lasting white head. Aroma of clove, black pepper and unripe banana. Dry and spicy flavour with a slightly hoppy finish.

cloudy yellow huge smooth also somewhat bubbly white head. aroma of wheat, spices, lemongrass, banana ,honey straw. flavor is malts, wheat, spices, belgian yeasty notes, bitter belgian yeasty notes (almost bretty) faint herbal flowery note. dry and belgian’ish tasting wheat with many subtle flavors in it, imagine mixing 1/3 hefeweizen and 2/3 saison, then you are about there. Daring påskebryg, but would work better than most in the spring sunshine.

Hazy yellow with white head. Light yeasty aroma with lemon notes. Flavour is malty with yeast and lemon. Finishes a little spicy. Nothing wrong with this one but not that interesting either.

Bottled (thanks fonefan!). Yellow hazy colour with small white head. Aroma is wheat, citrus, toffee and mild caramel. Flavour is quite similar, but also has a nice bitterness.

Bottle 500ml (Peta4). Hazy yellow, small white head. Slightly tart-citrusy, wheaty aroma. Medium-bodied. Harsh, cardboardish, banana and spicey hops. Grainy and dull.

Many thanks to Roman. Smooth neutral body. hints if yeast, fresh and smooth. Not too deep, round but a bit grainy.

Bottle shared at a tasting at troubles’s place. Thanks fonefan for this bottle. Hazy yellow. Aroma of graininess, fruity esters and a spicy note. Sweetish flavor with fruity esters and spicy phenols. Light to medium-bodied.

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Leicht trübe goldgelbe Farbe, fingerbreite weiße Schaumkrone. Geruch hefig bananig, süß, gering Citrus. Geschmack bananig süß, hefig, etwas trocken, gering hopfig, Citrusfrüchte, ganz ok!

Flaske fra SuperBrugsen i Nørrebrogade, påskeølet hadde gjort sitt inntog i hyllene. Uklar lys gylden med filmskum. Krydret aroma og smak med god balanse og behagelig ettersmak. Påsken kan bare komme, og imens nyter jeg denne mens jeg journalfører dagens utflukter.
