A terrific pumpkin ale, was surprised to see this rated a little low. the aroma and color are all exactly what i’d want for a pumpkin ale, the taste could be a little higher in abv, a little more kick, but still great.

On tap at Deep Ellum, Boston, Mass last October. An amber coloured pour with a smallish white head on top. Slight pumpkin aroma. Tastes malty, slight pumpkin, thin and lacking complexity. Barman recommended this but I was rather disappointed with it to be honest.

A golden amber ale with a thin white head. A pleasant aroma of pumpkin spices, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. In mouth, a good malt with light spices, nice and balanced. On tap at brewpub Oct. 11 2008.

GABF 2007. A slightly hazy golden beer with a lazing white head. The aroma is sweet malty with spicy notes of cinnamon and more mixing in with notes of pumpkin. The flavor is sweet malty with spicy notes of cinnamon mixing with notes of pumpkin. The body is light. Not my thing with pumpkin in beer.

2004 draught @ the brewery. Pours a soft orange-yellow, lightly golden, mostly clear with a small white head. Aroma of pumpkin pie spice, light brown sugar notes; pumpkin. Flavor begins a bit light and takes a while to really gain steam, but as the beer warms, this helps the malt come forth. Quite spicy, but not too watery and not overly spicy at least. Medium to medium light body, moderately sweet; I’m still spoiled from Empire’s Pumpkin though.
