Bottled. A dark brown beer with a beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, cocoa, and caramel. The flavor is sweet with notes of cocoa, alcohol, and fruits, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle shared at the chriso Easter 2015 tasting - London. Pours clear ruby-brown with a frothy beige head. Toasted grains in the nose, some musty earth, bread, grapes. Medium sweet flavor with some dry leather, fruit, more toasted grain, subtle cocoa and earth. Medium bodied with average carbonation. Moderately sweet on the finish, with more grape, earth, berries and leather. OK.

KRS 131214. Dark brown colour with a beige head. Aroma is roasted malt, hop, coffee, chocolate. Flavour is roasted malt, coffee, hop, dried fruits, spices, caramel. Full body. OK beer.

Bottle at Chriso easter tasting 04/04/2015. Thanks to Kenny. Aroma is earthy dusty, nutty, cakey, dusty. Flavour is composed of nutty, tart dried fruits, cakey malts, toast, dusty, little tartness. Mahogany brown coloured pour with a lasting fine off white head. Palate is medium body moderate carbonation. Decent stuff.

Dunkle, leicht süße Getreidenoten. Roggen, angenehm hefig, insgesamt rund. Zum Ende leicht herb, weiter intensiv dunkel getreidig, alkoholische Nuancen. Harmonisch, gut! 10/11/11/11/9/11

66 cL bottle. Pours clear and deep brown to amber with a small white head. Aroma is chocolate and caramelish. Overripe fruity and caramelish. Mild bitter, caramelish and breadish. Dry and malty finish.

Bottle split at Chriso Easter tasting, thanks to Kenwold, 04/04/15. Rich chestnut brown topped with a moderate beige covering. Nose is thin, biscuit, spice, toffee, light roasted notes. Taste comprises dark fruit notes, spice, malt, light cocoa rub. Medium bodied, moderate carbonation, semi drying close. Mediocre affair, not much to like here!

Bottle from trade with fonefan, many thanks! Sehr dunkel rötlichbraune Farbe, ordentliche beige Schaumkrone. Geruch nach Kaffee und Schokolade, bitter, reife rote Beeren. Geschmack sehr schokoladig, bitterer Kaffee, rote Früchte, gut!

ChrisOs Easter Tasting. Clear dark amber beer, good cream colour head. Palate is light and semi dry with mild fine carbonation. Smooth dark malts, some cream. Tangy dark fruits and mild spice. Smooth finish. Tangy fruity linger. Nicely joined up.
