(Tap) clear, bright amber brown color with a small tan head; aroma of compote, dried fruit; creamy palate; balanced flavor with a long, light bitter and tart finish

On tap @Jaxon Beer Hall, downtown Dallas during the recent ice over. Clear, plastic pint glass. Murky brown, melted oatmeal head. Toasted dark bread, charred brown sugar nose. Super toasty, earthy char, dusty yeast, bittersweet leaning bitter, with a veggie overdoneness mixed in with some caramel. Too heavy for a basic bitch Bock.

12 oz can from Total Wine, San Antonio, TX. Pours a crystal clear dark mahogany color with a fizzy beige head and good retention. Virtually no lacing. Caramel malt aroma. Good, very sweet caramel malt flavor to match the nose. Clean and light crispness with a semi-slick mouthfeel. Low carbonation. Very smooth and easy drinking. The 6.4% ABV is undetectable. No bitterness. A bit one dimensional, but well done and enjoyable.
