(Sample from a bottle at RBESG 2017 Grand Tasting) The beer poured clear and nearly black. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had paint thinner, wood and berries. Palate was full bodied and dry with medium carbonation. Flavours were tartness, wood, berries, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was tart and bitter. A brew with scary aroma and nice taste.

0.5l bottle @ Cafe Sara. It wants out of the bottle this! Not gushing, but a few seconds later the table had a good sour aroma. Looks deep and really dark on the glass with a deep brown body and a light islandy medium sized dark beige top. Lots of aroma going on here! It's super woody, tart and sour fruity. Ripe red currants, red wine, wood and some chocolate wrapper. Really interesting nose on this one. It has a gentle oily mouthfeel and a above average on the carbonation. Lots of tartness on the taste. Definitely woody with sour gooseberries, red currants, vinous wine tones and red wine vinegar. Lots of flavor! 14.10.2013
