A malty dark ale with a complex and flavorful chocolate character with a gentle notes of leather and horse blanket from the wild yeast strain of Brettanomyces lambicus. Fermented with our own mix of ale yeast and brettanomyces yeast to generate a intense but smooth Porter with flavorful chocolate character combined with background of funky fruity esters.

Black brown colour, beige head. Aroma of caramel, malts, molasses, soy sauce, teriyaki, red berries. Sweet flavour, light bitter, caramel, hops, sour touch. Light bitter finish, hops, malts.

(Bottle, 0.33 l - brew 055 - BBE Aug 2017, at Ukkometso, 20150307) The beer poured black. Its head was quite large, lightly brown and it lasted long. Aroma had burnt malts, liquorice, dark chocolate and coffee. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were burnt malts, saltiness, liquorice, sweetness, dark chocolate, tartness and bitterness. Aftertaste was burnt and bitter. A well done porter

Bottle. Pours hazy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and yeast, with touches of roast and fruit. Sweetish flavour of caramel malt, complemented by hoppy, vinous and estery touches, turning roasty towards the lingering, bitter finish. Hints of liquorice. Well-balanced and enjoyable. Decent.

Bottle from trade with fonefan Sehr dunkelbraunes Bier mit einer schönen bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Geruch sehr röstmalzig, schokoladig, etwas Kaffee, erdig. Geschmack schokoladig, trocken, erdig, Karamell und Vanille, ein Hauch von reifen Früchten, minimal torfig, lecker!

Bottle @ Super Brugsen, Bullerup. Pours black with a creamy head and lacings. Roast, ashes, caramel and hints of brett. Dry, bitter and roasted. Excellent!

Taste is dry and slightly sour-ish roasted, weeds, roasted grain, hay, minerals, sour coffee, burnt caramel, dark malts, yeast, hints of chocolate. Medium bitterness, thin and burnt mouthfeel. Pretty boring.

Bottle at home. Has a black color with a light brown foam. The aroma is full of chocolate and more precisely brownies, chocolate milkshake and nougat chocolate (Ferrero Rocher for those who know this lovely chocolate). In addition there is a burnt aroma in the background of coffee beans, burnt wood and leather. The flavor has more roasted notes of coffee, burnt logs and some soy sauce. Mouth feel is silky and the bitterness is balanced. This is a solid porter with much burnt and chocolate. It was still not many signs of the brett.

Oily, black with frothy tan head. Aroma is roasted with licorice and funky hints. Roasted flavour with chocolate discrete dry sourness. Dry, bitter finish. Interesting.
