Kihnu Jõnn on pöögipuuga suitsutatud linnastest pruulitud Lager-tüüpi Rauchbier, millel on ilmeksimatult äratuntav iseloom. Kapten kinnitab, et just selline üks õige suitsuõlu olema peabki.

(Bottle, 0.4 l, at Katariina Kelder, Rakvere, 20170803) The beer poured deep golden and clear. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, smoke and grass. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were smoke, sweetness, malts and bitterness. Aftertaste was smoky and bitter. A surprisingly nice smoked from a macro brewery.

Bottle (from Rimi). Pours clear golden with huge whiteish head. Thea head stays. Aroma is mild smoke, malt, metallic notes, sweetness. Flavor is sweet and bitter, some soap, sugar, some weird smoke, malt, some grains and cardboard. Finish is sweet with slight bitterness and alcohol. Body is on the fuller side. Overall: not good, way too sugary-sweet, and as pointed out by previous raters the smoke feels bit chemical. Damn, now I want some Schlenkerla to rinse my mouth, but I don’t have any in the fridge...

40cl bottle at Sämmy Grill. Pour clear golden with a modest, white head. Mild grainy aroma with hints of ripe fruits and smoke. Moderate to medium sweet with mild malty flavour with a hint of smoke and a light bitterness. Fair enough.
