Cask at the hanging bat. Pours clear gold, thin white head. Aromas of light citrus and grains. Taste is light sweet, floral, light citrus, dusty malt. Strange astringent finish.

Clear golden beer with a grassy citrus aroma. Flavour is grassy and floral citrus with a bitter-sour follow-up. Light but rich. A touch cooler and it’d be my perfect sunny afternoon beer.

No hops after all? Highly misleading information.

Clear golden, modest head. Persistently unfresh aroma, with liquorice, citrus and lemon grass. Decent hoppy taste.

500ml bottle. Golden amber colour, foamy white head leaving some lacing and aroma of tropical fruit, peach, orange, citrus hoppy. Taste is malt caramel with juicy peach, orange citrus, hoppy, hint of pine, and grapefruity bitterness. Slightly oily mouthfeel, medium bodied, soft carbonation, dry tangy bitter finish. Very drinkable.

Bottle from ’Jacks’ Westholme Stores, Goring-on-Thames, Oxon, consumed at Hastings Touring Park, Hastings Sunday 4th May 2014 Golden in colour with the merest haze, slight white filminess. Wonderfully bittersweet, really thrusty, dry, lovely light syrupy citrussy sweetness. This is excellent, really pleasant drinker. Great hoppiness, lovely. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov15 3.8

Nose is citrus, slight pine. Taste is lime, mandarin leading to a little cereal and a resin finish. Mouthfeel is suitable. It’s a decent American IPA, to be filed with the other 756,432 which are available.
