Old rating from 19-01-17 - A 500ml bottle which pours a clear golden colour with a small white head. Aromas of caramel, citrus and marmalade. Tastes of caramel, citrus, grain, sweet honey & marmalade. With a moderate sweet flavour and a long and reasonably bitter aftertaste with wood, orange, dry, hoppy present.

Shared 500 ml bottle at local tasting, thanks to Holmen2. ABV is 6.0%. Clear deep golden to orange colour, moderate to low white head. Nice and "typically English" aroma, toffee, caramel and sourish hops. Much the same elements in the flavour too, but less nice - seems a bit unbalanced. Drinkable, but far from the best IPA I’ve had.

500ml bottle at home on 14th Nov 2017, poured into an Abbot Ale glass tankard. Hazy, light golden pour, white blanket of foam on top. Malty nose with an orange/satsuma like undertone aroma wise. Taste is also malt forward with a slight orange flavouring. Light spicy, pepper twist mid-sip, leading to a mild bitter finish. Really liked it.

Clear medium golden colour, small but steady white head, good lacing. Aroma pale malts, grain, caramel, bit orange. Taste medium sweet and bitter, malty, bread, toffee. Very toasted malt middle part, leading to a bittersweet finish, piney and peppery notes, medium body, oily texture, soft carbonation, very nice malty ipa.

Bottle from Wine And Beer Direct, Halifax. Tawny golden coloured ale with a small frothy head. Strong, but still maintains a notable hoppy character with a citrus bitterness.

20th April 2015
Bright clear gold beer, decent but short lived white head. Palate is light and smooth with decent fine carbonation. Sweet malts, bery sweet, a milky kind of sweetness. Hops start with with mildly spicy pine. Mild marmalade, little hop spice. Light semi dry finish. Pretty sweet for an IPA but quite drinkable.
