Bottle 750ml. [ As Kølster Julebryg ].ABV: 5.0%. Gusher !! Unclear matt medium amber color with a small, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, spicy, anis, christmas spices. Flavour is moderate to heavy sweet and light to moderate bitter with a long duration, christmas spices. Quit messy ! Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140201]

Bottle at Yespr’s. Gusher! It pours cloudy dark brown with floaters and a small off-white head. The nose is spicy, wood, toffee, candy, varnish, earth and fruit cake. The taste is wood, caramel, spice, toast, earth, dried fruit and fruit cake. Medium body and moderate+ carbonation. OK spiced beer, but not a whole lot to it.

Sample from 75 cl. bottle. Murky, amber colour with a small, off-white head. Spiced-up aroma with brown cookies, Christmas spices, fruits and caramel malts. Taste is sweet. Medium body with a soft carbonation. Finishes spiced with Christmas cookies. I do not like spiced up Christmas beers. However, this one had a fair balance between the flavour components.

Bottled. A murky amber beer with a rim of beige head. The aroma has notes of over ripe fruits, caramel, and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of caramel, over ripe fruits, alcohol, and wet hay, leading to a bitter finish.
