Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up at the Bottle Shop, Bermondsey. Pours lightly hazy gold with a creamy, pure white head. The aroma holds crackery pale malts, some crunchy hay, lemon peel, pine needles, golden raisins. Light-medium sweet flavour with approaching grassy bitterness, more crackers and some biscuits, grain husk, dirty hay, citrus peel. Light to medium bodied with average, massaging carbonation. Finishes with further crunchy biscuits and dirty hay, aged lemon rind. Pretty well balanced, with ample bitterness crossed with hearty bready malts. Not bad.

Bottle at home. It pours hazy yellow with a thick, foamy white head. The aroma is fresh, fragrant, bready, hay, straw, quite clean, white grape, tropical notes and cracker. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, grassy, hay, minerals, straw, citrus peel, pithy, zesty lemon rind, white peppery spice with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate, foamy carbonation. Fresh, quite clean and refreshing. Feels more like a hoppy Belgian ale than APA perhaps. Rather nice overall.

Bottle from The Bottle Shop London and drunk at home. Hazy gold colour. Lasting white head. Ooooh, not sure. Some caramel that dominates the pale ale. Some good hop on the finish. It's a bit too sweet up front but as I say the hop on the finish is decent.

Bottle from Cork & Cask. Hazy bronze body with a medium white head. Low carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma of hay, white grape and chalky lemon. Flavour of melon and lemon zest. Medium body with a frothy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Very clean and a nice showcase of Hallertau Blanc.
