Light sweet flavor with restrained spiciness, faint smoke, some pepper, banana, bread. Ligh to medium bodied with lively carbonation. Bottle thanks to Benny H. Massive gusher! It pours murky deep golden - amber with a medium off-white head. The aroma is rich smoked maltage, tangy, meaty, tinned pineapple, definite smoked paprika and earth. The taste is smooth, light bitterness, smoked malts, quite mellow, spice, red pepper, brown bread, pineapple chunk and spice with a dry finish. Medium body and high, foamy carbonation. Bonkers stuff. I don’t mind it that much actually. Unique.

Bottle thanks to BenH. Hazy amber lasting beige head. Smoky sausage aroma. Rather good if you really liked smoked bacon crisp flavoured beers. Which I do. Over carbonated. That’s really rather good if you like smoked bacon crisps. Hilariously tasty.

33cl bottle thanks to BenH. Appearance - a gusher! Then cloudy amber to chestnut. Good head. Nose - light but persistent smoke. Some stewed fruit behind it probably apple. Taste - barbecued pineapple. So tangy tropical citrus thing with a layer of smoke. Palate - medium bodied with a creamy and smoky texture and a balanced if drying finish. Overall - complex beer. Good.

Bottle from Free Beer Week, biggest thanks possible to BenH. Brownish orange, very hazy. An aesthetically pleasing off-white head. Aroma: split pea soup, with heavy woodsmoke and soy.Taste is a light smoky bitter with a ratatouille-led aftertaste. Mouthfeel is too watery for me, but this is tempered by the carbonation. Verdict: an experimental beer that gets pretty much everything spot on.

Bottle at Craig’s. Pours hazy amber, thin white head. Light smoke aromas, something sweet. Paprika on the taste. Not getting much in the way of peas, but very nice.
