Almost clear paleish gold beer, small white head. Palate is light, semi dry and has a decent crispness. Smooth malts, just sweet enough for a pils. Modest lager tang. The Pacifica hops show their noble heritage here with a spicy floral was with a medium bitter edge. Decent citrus emerges, mostly of the peel variety, orange and tangerine and I fancy a whisper of lime that so many NZ hops carry to varying degrees. Finishes with a nice malt smoothness but leaves a spicy bitter linger. Very nice, a modern hop forwardness here but it never loses its balance. Goes down easy.

Bottle at home in Hackney - picked up from All Good Beer. Pours clear gold with a soft, foamy white head. Clean and biscuity, with notes of straw, lightly ripened lemon, nips of grass and fresh cereal grains. Light bodied with delicate, massaging carbonation. Clean finish, lightly crisp, more crunchy cereal, hay. Very drinkable.

Bottle. Beer Stop, Dronfield. Light haze on a yellow gold. Fine and fairly dense, lasting, white head. Nose has crisp and clean malt. Lemon rind. Notes of yeasty bread. Some clipped leaf. Taste has a light sweetness but is mostly dry, and leafy bitter. Some hop oiliness on the palate. Drinks clean though. Foamy carbonation. Lingering bitterness to finish. Nice pils that definitely isn’t lacking hop presence.
