[Cask at Reading beerfest] Brown with a loose off-white head. Floral smell, tastes of roasty malts with hints of lemon. It’s good, but not up to the Windsor & Eton Conqueror I’d had just before.

Mason & Taylor single hop fest. Clear brown beer, no head. Light palate, low carbonation. Semi dry. Good malt, just very slightly roasty. Nice piney hops with a trace of orange fruits. Good bittering finish. Not bad at all.

Cask, handpump at The Sportsman, Huddersfield, West Yorkshire 23.04.11 Pours dark reddy brown not as black as I was expecting, creamy off-white head atop. Crisp and full of grapefruit juiciness, tangy fruity and very good, some light chocolate touches. Just a good beer. A7 A4 T8 P4 Ov17 4.0

Cask gravity at Mason & Taylor Hip Hop BF. Very dark brown no head. Some toffee comes through and some hop. Tasty enough but not great condition and the hops are bitter but not particularly flavoursome. After so many good beers a little disappointing but very decent hop on finish if a little oily metal. Ok though
