Tap. Shakespeares, Sheffield. Cloudy, orangey gold. Thin, sticky, lasting, white head. Smells like a Heffe, with a load of tinned fruit syrup thrown in. Taste is initially sweet. Some tinny dryness. Soft, smooth palate. Finishes with more of the tinny thing. Doesn’t work for me.

Keg from The Hanging Bat. Milky golden body with a thick white head. Nice lacing. Aroma of yeast, lime, mushy apple and candle wax. Flavour of citrus, apricot yoghurt and white pepper. Medium body with a creamy mouthfeel. Soft fizz. Not much of a looker but it’s very juicy and flavoursome.

On tap at the Yard, Bristol 31/5/2015. Vivid orange in colour, with a billowy, white, head. Juicy citrus fruits, some strawberry, bubble gum, grainy malts. Finish was gentle with a touch of hop. Very good.

Keg at Brewdog Shep bush. Hazed orange coloured pour with a lasting white head. Aroma is wheaty, tangy citrus, orange, beady malts, dry, mineral. Flavour is composed of wheaty grains. , orange rind, tangy citrus, crisp in the finish. Palate is medium light, highish carbonation, nice wheaty grains, good hefe.

Keg at the Fox E8 - London. Pours murky gold with a creamy white head. Vibrant fruit character in the nose, some peach and apricot, peach, wheat bread, light eatery quality. Light sweet flavor with some tangy citrus, lemon peel, dry wheat, faint grass, rind, banana chips. Medium bodied with lively carbonation. Moderate sweetness to finish, some tangy citrus fruits, hay, dry wheat. Not bad.

Keg at Fox E8. It pours murky dirty orange with a white head. The nose is sweet, juicy, tangerine, passion fruit, mango, orange juice, brioche, wheat, light spice, kumquat and fruit smoothie. The taste is crisp, bitter, orange rind, tangerine, grapefruit, minerals, pepper, waxy citrus peel, wheaten bread, cracker and nutty cheddar with a dry finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Xolid.

Euston Tap. Keg. Cloudy gold - amber beer, good off white head. Palate is light and mildly crisp. Mango and peach and other lesser tropical fruits. Nice touch of floralness. Little spice. Nice flavours here but I would never have placed the style from them.
