Cask at Crown Hotel, Nantwich. Pours a golden yellow with a small foamy off-white head and good lacing. Rhe nose has some fainr orange and marmalade leanings. In the mouth it has a sweet and chewy texture, with autumn fruits as the main flavour plus traces of vanilla. Later on some bitter hops make themselves known, and they are the mainstay in the finish. OK, but a bit bland.

Hand-pulled pint in Ye Olde Fighting Cocks, Oakengates on 22nd April 2014. Mid-amber body with a white crown that hung around. Pleasant blend with the malts just about winning in both the aroma and taste, the hops preventing the beer becoming too sweet or caramel sickly. Medium bodied and overall not a bad pint.
