I thought I had rated this beer years ago, but apparently not. 500 ml bottle, batch #722, from Helgø Meny Stadionparken. ABV is 4.7%, IBU 31. Very dark brown colour, nearly black. Moderate to small beige head. Aroma of sourish and lightly roasted malts, hints of leftover cold coffee. Dry flavour of cold coffee and roast malts, moderate bittering hops. Not much to be excited about here.

Colasvart med lys beige skum. Lukter sjokolade. Mild vannete med kaffe og sjokolade i smak.

Bottle 50 cl. Black with a minimum light brown head. Roasted malt aroma, with some chocolate sense. Light bitter with a short roasted end, light.

Bottle shared with TO and ED at TO's 16.09.17. Very dark brown. Small and diminishing off-white head. Aroma of dark malt and tobacco. Taste of dark malt, syrup, tobacco and pine. A bit waterish. Bitterness is lingering on.

Bottle at home. Has a deep brown to dark color with a small light brown head that fades fast. Aroma of cold coffee, nuts, dark chocolate and some lactose. The flavor is nicely roasted with coffee beans, smoke, ash, lactose and very dark chocolate. Has silky mouth feel, light body, and a light bitterness. An easy-drinking, roasted and a little sweet porter.

Flaske 500ml fra Eurospar Tomasjord. Ultramørk amber. Egentlig svart. Fingerhøyt lysebrunt skum som daler sakte. Litt lacing. Aroma av melkesjokolade med spor av røstet malt. Lite kullsyre. Smaken lettrøstet malt + litt sjokolade. Blir svakt tørr etterhvert. Masse bunnfall som for det meste blir igjen på flaska.

Lukter kaffe og lakris. Smak av kaffe, lakris og karamell. en likende porter, litt mild men ok. Des 15

500 ml bottle. Clear, very dark amber body with a huge, creamy, long lasting, lacing beige head. Quite mild in aroma, but very promising, dark malt, roasted coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is surprisingly smooth, balanced and tasty for the moderate ABV, dark malt, pleasant roast, coffee, dark chocolate and light but balanced bitterness. Very nice body, surprisingly full bodied consideration the low alcohol. Smooth and tasty, long lasting aftertaste. A really nice session porter. No cooked vegetables here and no nonsense, just straight to the core a very nice porter.
