A beer for connoisseurs and aficionados. India Pale Ale is named after those famous ales that, beginning in the seventeenth century, were loaded on ships headed for India. Since the ships had to cross the equator and there was no refrigeration of any type on board, the Pale Ale destined for India had a higher alcohol content and was made with a generous measure of hops, enabling it to better withstand long voyages. In revisiting this beer style, Theresianer Master Brewers chose to emulate the magnificent and traditional intense hoppiness. When combined with long aging, the result is a surprising aroma with floral and citrus nuances, and a distinct bitterness that fades to leave the impression of a nicely balanced body.

At Nomad restaurant. Smell of straw, some hops. Cloudy amber colour, small white head. Aroma of straw, resin, hops, faint honey. Lots of italo pils here mixing with ipa. Lively carbon. Lightly bitter, lightly sweet. Decent body.

Bottled at Furusunds Värdshus, Furusund. Clear amber, mid sized head. Aroma of grspefruit, grass and dusty biscuits. Mid sweet with medium body and clean, rounded mouthfeel. Crystal malt like biscuity base, hay and grapefruit. Mid bitter finish.

Aroma: Stale hops with fruits and dirt.
Flavour: Fruity sweet and lightly dry bitter with citrus. Aftertaste is sweet and dry bitter.
Colour: Amber with an offwhite head.

Bottiglia. Il gusto al naso è indirizzato verso il luppolo. L'intensità olfattiva è normale e il modo in cui permane è sufficiente. Il manto birroso superiore ha una buona tenuta. La grandezza delle bollicine è media. Il liquido è di consistenza trasparente. La frizzantezza si presenta sotto forma di bollicine medio-fini. Il colore è arancio. Il corpo è pieno. L'amaro è carico. La forza gustativa è elevata e si prolunga in modo sufficiente. Il gusto è piacevole. Le sensazioni boccali finali risultano di pronta beva. Il retrogusto è di decente intensità. L'aroma in bocca riferisce di miele, amaretto, frutta secca, luppolo e agrumi.

Bottled 330ml. -from Eataly Trieste, shared with hrabren. Darker golden coloured, medium sized white head, light citrus and caramel in the nose. Sweet malty, fruity, citrusy, notes of caramel and jam like fruity notes in the finish.

0.33 l bottle from Eataly Trieste, shared with Ogi. Unclear orange, small off-white head. Lightly hoppy, citrusy, perfumy and malty. Light to medium body, moderate carbonation, moderate bitterness. Malty flavour, light stone fruit flavour. Light finish. Very useless but not actually bad.

Appearance: Foggy gold with a tall off-white rocky head of perfect retention. Aroma: Biscuit, grapefruit, peppery notes, nuts, resin. Taste: Light to medium sweet, medium bitter. Biscuit, resin, grapefruit, pepper. Mouth feel: Medium body, average carbonation. Overall: Pretty basic.
