Sampled on draft at 3R6P this beer poured a dark golden amber with a large foamy white head that faded and left a bit of lacing. The aroma was faintly tangy and dank with a bit of pine and pepper. The flavor was tangy pine and pepper. Short finish. Medium body. Pretty bland.

16oz pour at DC Brau’s 3rd Anniversary Party at Meridian Pint. Pours a clear dark orange with some thin, lacing white head. Nose is really nice, tropical fruit, starfruit, pineapple, honey, a little asian pear, some gum. Flavor is extremely well balanced, lightly sweet, lightly fruity, lightly bitter, starfruit, meyer lemon, orange, asian pear, some Juicy Fruit gum, a bit of grass, some mild honey. Clean, refreshing finish.

Cask (gravity) @ GBBF 2013, Great British Beer Festival, London Olympia, Hammersmith Road, London, England W14 8UX.Clear medium orange yellow color with a average, frothy - fizzy, good lacing, mostly lasting to diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate to heavy hoppy, orange - citrus, pine, fruity. Flavor is moderate to heavy sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, orange. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130813]

Gravity cask at GBBF Session 1 - London. Pours clear, orange-gold with a lightly, bubbly white head. Light dry citrus aroma with some jammy fruits. Light to medium sweet flavour with moderately juicy citrus, some bitter orange rind, lightly toasted grains. Light to medium bodied with fine carbonation. Lightly drying citric finish with more rindy bitterness. Good.

Cask gravity at GBBF 2013. It pours clear golden amber with a minimal white head. The nose is sweet, floral, soft citrus, wood and light farmyard. The taste is wood, oily, good bitterness, resin, floral, grapefruit, nice bitterness, grain and earth with a very dry finish. Medium body and low carbonation. Solid stuff.

From cask. Pours clear and golden orange with a small white head. Aroma is smooth fruity, grapefruity and citrusy. Smooth fruity and peachy. Mild bitter, lingering fruity sweet impression into the finish.

Gravity @ gbbf, small sample. Golden color, short head. Aroma of tropical fruit, hint of grapes. Medium bitter. Decent stuff.

Cask gravity at Gbbf 2013. Really good grapefruit flavour. Lovely finish needs a bit of carbonation but it’s very drinkable.
