Cask at White Hart, Chobham. Nil aroma. Dark chestnut. Creamy off-white head. Light bitter. Some rye comes through, cream, It's kinda aeneamic . Medium bodied. Creamy, almost gloopy. Average carbonation. Astringent finish. Odd. It's got an interesting palate but then really lacks much in terms of taste. Odd. But think It's been on for a week +. Especially as it seems to be gwnerallybwell received.

(Cask at King’s Arms, Bethnal Green, London, 23 Apr 2015) Reddish amber colour with foamy, beige head. Malty, fruity nose with notes of caramel, rye bread and red fruit. Malty, fruity taste with rye bread, red fruit, citrus and a spicy bitterness in the finish. Medium body, with a certain sweetness. Tasty, with a distinct spicy rye character. Quite nice.

Cask at the brewery on Kinights Club members night - 19/03/13. Clear copper amber with a decent sized off white head that retains well. Nose is caramel, rye bread, malts, biscuit, light nutty tones. Taste comprises caramel, toffee, biscuit, grain, browb bread dough, rye, touch of hops. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, dry in the finish. Decent stuff fresh from the source, didn’t really notice the 5.8% either - and easy drinker for this ABV.
