Crisp and fruity, golden and scintillating. This ale thinks it’s a lager, and with Galena, Crystal and Liberty hops from the US, it delights and confounds in equal amounts.

Cask at Craft St Mary Axe. Soft, fruity, citrus, quite malty. Nice blond ale, real ale yeastiness. Easy drinking. Bit floury. Enjoyed it.

Hand-pulled cask pint in The Rosendale; SE 21 on Sunday 22nd Jan 2017. Mini-haze to the light blonde pour, thin white head. Citrus leanings in both the nose and flavour, not a lot else going on to be honest.

Can from Freshfields Market. It pours bright gold with a medium white head. The aroma is bready malts, cracker, biscuit, toasted grain, straw and light spice. The taste is crisp, dryish, white bread, cracker, floral, straw, lemon peel and cereal with a dry finish. Light - medium body and fine carbonation. Easy - drinking blonde. OK.

Bottle 500ml (AbM)
Slightly hazy golden-orange color, small steady white head. Light yeasty-fruity aroma with hints of orange. Light-bodied. Fruity, sweet yeasty flavor. More on sweet than bitter side. Quite "traditional" bottle conditioned British golden ale. Simple but drinkable.
