Cask handpull at Brew Wharf. Black beer with thin lasting tan head. Roasty stout. But some juiciness to it. Still nit the best condition. Quite extreme on the roast. Decent and distinctive but maybe a but extreme for my delicate palate. Ok

(Cask at Brew Wharf, Borough, London, 27 Apr 2013) Black colour with brief, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with chocolate, coffee, liquorice and hints of ashes. Malty, roasted taste with notes of coffee, dark chocolate, ashes and a generous roasty bitterness in the finish. Medium body, quite dry. Well balanced and tasty stout. Nice one.

Cask at the Brewpub. Opaque dark brown beer, tidy pale tan head. Palate is light and smooth. Minerally fine carbonation. Mellow dark malt that has a roasted trailing edge. Brief note of unsweet chocolate. Mild bubblegum esters and a little citric hops in the lead up to the neutral finish. Tasty light stout.

Cask at Brew Wharf, London. Pours clear, dark red-brown with a frothy, beige foam head. Lots of ashy roast in the nose, some dry chocolate, earth. Light to medium sweet flavor with dry roast, bitter cocoa, burnt earth and hefty ash. Light bodied with fine, creamy carbonation. Dry, bitter baking cocoa finish with more ashy roasted malts. Good.
