Medium beige head. Clear deep dark body with small particles and light carbonation. Fruity resiny spicy aroma with oily vinegary notes. Dryish resiny fruity taste with spicy notes. Mid-bodied. Mild, soft mouthfeel. Dryish, and faintly, faintly acidic, wooden earthy roasted aftertaste with fruity spicy notes. Nice, a bit odd, drinkable, pleasant. (0.5l bottle, wine monopoly web order.)

500ml bottle, batch 951, from Vinmonopolet Tromsø Sentrum. Transparent brown coloured body, tingled with red. Dense, fawn-coloured head reduced to a patchy layer. Lacing rings down the glassware. Dried fruity nose added by fine malts. Jam-like flavours of dark apricot, berries and caramel leading to a malt-fruity ending. Warming and mouthfilling. Sweet sipper, partially enjoyed for more than one hour (Tromsø 01.11.2013).

Bottled at O’Connor’s, Uppsala. Cloudy copper colour, mid sized head. Aroma of lingonberry and caramel. Sweet, full bodied, rounded mouthfeel. Heavy and syrupy. Sugar and wood, lots of molasses, some lingonberry. Warming finish with low bitterness.

Aroma is woody, heavy and malty - feels like a German doppelbock. Also some raisins. Flavour is sweet with fruits, caramel, strong malty notes with roastiness and some raisins. A doppelbock with sweet fruity notes from American strong ales.

Bottle shared at the Rake. It pours deep muddy ruby-brown with pretty much no head. The nose is sweet, caramel, fig, raisin, sugar, candy and grape. The taste is caramel, candy, brown sugar, fig, raisin, sultana and red grape. Medium body, fine carbonation and slightly sticky mouth-feel. A bit sweet yes, but I kinda got into after a while.

500 ml bottle, might soon be available at Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Batch #951. ABV is 9%. Dark reddish brown colour, hazy,
large off-white head. Malty aroma, hints of bakery and ripe red berries. Distinctly malty flavour, notes of caramel and brown bread, hints of ripe fruits. The hops are very moderate, but noticeable.

Nice slightly brown creamy longlasting head. Aroma is slightly sweet, caramel malts, grass, toffee, butterscotch, hops, oak, dark sugar, vanilla, almond essence. Taste is slightly harsh grassy, caramel malts, almond essence, grass, oak, vanilla essence, soap, toffee. Medium bitterness, slightly dry mouthfeel. Fair enough.

(Bottle, 0.5 l - batch 951 - brygget 090413, at Pikkulintu, 20130907) The beer poured dark brown and clear. Its head was small and white. Aroma had malts, molasses and caramell. Palate was full bodied and sticky with medium carbonation. Flavours were malts, molasses, grass, pine and bitterness. Aftertaste was malty and bitter. A very very malty brew. Not an easy one but still good.
